I feel rather embarassed in writing this but i didn't know Mr. Edwards, I have just retired and decided to collect philart covers. I love the wacky art humour, and still not knowing who the artist was i ended buying a signed cover. Now i feel i own a small part of his life. god bless.

I just discovered about ten minutes ago that JEO had died. I was so sad to hear it. My friend, Gary Simpson and I were big fans of his Disc strip in the 70s, and were delighted to win plastic warthogs for one of the 'microbes' cartoons we submitted. I still have the ridiculous letter he sent us. Rest in peace, Jack.

Hmmm that 2 million and 40 year old dinosaur never goes away.. so many memories.. this man is a legend and will live at least as long as Fresco.. and much longer than Stoke Newington...

In 2004 I was lucky enough to have Jack e-mail me a picture of a plastic warthog, he told me the reason he wasnt sending real plastic warthogs any more was due to them being difficult to e-mail. Top man that he is
